On the first day after the Chuseok holidays, the nation reported 73 new cases on Monday, seeing the number of daily infections stay below 100 for the fifth day in a row.
Of the new cases, 64 were locally transmitted and 9 were from overseas, bringing the total number of cases to over 24-thousand.
One more patient has died from the virus, bringing the death toll to 422.
