Good afternoon, one last band of monsoon rain is in store for central regions with up to 300 millimeters of torrential showers expected for central western regions into Sunday.
Meanwhile, sizzling heat is in full swing in the south with more areas under heat wave warnings. Expect highs of above 35 degrees Celsius this afternoon under burning sunshine.
Daegu and Jeju will get up to 36 degrees Celsius. Rain affected regions will see highs in the upper twenties, expect downpours from around the evening commute into tomorrow afternoon.
Long weekend is ahead of us central regions will see rain through early Sunday then we'll will start to feel the summer heat next week while the scorching weather continues the south.
