Good morning, a monsoonal front will drop heavy rain on central parts of the country. We are talking about up to 300 millimeters of torrential showers for central western regions into Sunday. Central regions will see downpours from around the evening commute into tomorrow afternoon.
Meanwhile, sizzling heat is in full swing in southern parts of the country. Daegu and Jeju remains under heat wave warnings with expected highs of 36 degrees Celsius this afternoon. Watch out for heat stroke.
Morning lows are similar to slightly higher than the same time yesterday. It's a windy morning in the capital and rain will start soon in Seoul.
Rain affected central regions will see highs in the upper twenties while the south will have sultry temperatures at 35 degrees in Gyeongju, Gwangju and Busan at 32.
