South Korea's imports of Japanese consumer goods slumped more than 23-percent on-year in July as Tokyo's export controls against Seoul last year subsequently sparked a mass boycott of Japanese products in South Korea.
According to data by Korea Customs Service, imports of Japanese beer plunged by over 84-percent and that of cigarettes almost 90-percent and automobiles by nearly 52-percent.
Other Japanese imports such as beauty products, toys and processed foods took a dip as well.
