Seung-min, we have seen downpours in many parts of the nation today and have even had heavy rain alerts in place. What are the conditions looking like at the moment?
Well, Conn-young. As you can see numerous alerts have been placed around the country. In most central regions, as well as the Seoul metropolitan area, heavy rain warnings are in effect. On the other hand, for the south of the country, a heatwave has rolled in. Most of the southern regions have heatwave advisories are issued.
Until tomorrow, we’ll be seeing up to three-hundred millimeters of rain in central regions. 30 to 80 millimeters are expected in parts of Gyeonggi-do and Gangwon-do provinces.
For tomorrow morning, Seoul will begin the day at 24 degrees Celsius. Daegu at 25 and Busan 24 degrees.
Daytime highs will reach 28 degrees in the capital. Daegu 34 and Busan 29 degrees.
For the time being, we can expect this monsoon to last in central regions. But for Korea's neighbors, Beijing will see scorching highs of 35 degrees.
