The Dow Jones fell 350-points to 26-thousand 652, while the S&P 500 dropped one.2 percent, snapping a four-day winning streak to 32-35.
The NASDAQ sank over 2-percent at 10,461, driven down by sharp losses from major tech shares.
Oil prices also in the red.
Brent crude was down 2-percent and WTI, too, same percentage-amount to close at just over 41-dollars a barrel.
