Stocks on Wall Street closed in the green on Wednesday, on hopes of a COVID-19 vaccine and expectations of higher inflation.
The Dow Jones rose point-6 percent to 27,5, and the S&P 500 gained half-a-percent to 32-76, recording its fourth day of gains in a row.
The tech-heavy NASDAQ posted the smallest gain, capped by a drop in Amazon shares.
The index closed at 10-thousand 706.
Oil prices however fell a bit after the Energy Information Administration reported crude oil inventories were above the seasonal average.
Brent crude was down less than one-tenth-of-a-percent and WTI, too, lost point-1 percent to close at just under 42 dollars a barrel.
