Stocks on Wall Street limped toward the close on Tuesday, after Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell said he doesn't see another stimulus bill being passed in the next two weeks.
Dow Jones was up nearly 160-points to close at 26,840.
The S&P 500 finishing at 32-57, while tech heavy NASDAQ bounced around to close at 10-thousand 680, losing a one percent at the close.
Oil prices soared to their highest point since March, as investors boost optimism for economic recovery.
Brent crude added over one-and-a-half percent and WTI also up some 3 percent to close at almost 42 dollars a barrel.
