It was an up and down day on Wall Street over mixed jobs data and more new COVID-19 cases, but the market managed to rally in the final hours of trading.
The Dow Jones closed 300-points higher to finish at 25-thousand 745, while the S&P 500 picked up one-percent.
The NASDAQ also was also up over one-percent to top 10-thousand again.
Oil prices also rose about 3-percent in a volatile session Thursday,.. buoyed by signs of marginal improvements in the U.S. economy.
Brent Crude rose over 3-percent.
WTI was up about the same percentage amount to finish at 39-dollars 12-cents a barrel.
