South Korea could decide as early as this weekend whether spectators will be allowed back inside sports stadiums.
Amid pleas from professional teams struggling financially due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the government said talks with the culture and sports ministry are underway adding working-level discussions are needed to decide how many fans would be allowed inside stadiums.
The professional football, baseball and golf leagues in the country have been ongoing for about a month without spectators due to Covid-19.
