South Korean golfer Park Hyun-kyung has won the world's first pro golf tournament since the COVID-19 pandemic.
She claimed top honors at the 42nd KLPGA Championship at Lakewood Country Club in Yangju, Gyeonggi-do Province, for the first victory of her professional career.
Park, who made her KLPGA Tour debut last season, shot a 5-under par on Sunday for a final score of 17-under-par, outshooting Bae Sun-woo and Im Hee-jung, who were joint runners-up.
Park also scooped the 178-thousand dollar winner's check.
The best finish by an LPGA Tour player was Kim Hyo-joo, who finished tied for fourth.
