All travelers coming to S. Korea to go through special entry procedures Updated: 2020-03-17 16:33:54 KST

South Korea is expanding its special entry screening to include everyone entering the country both South Korean nationals and foreigners starting Thursday.
The health authorities say, as of March 15th, they had found 44 COVID-19 patients who came from China, other Asian countries and Europe.
They also found 6 cases among South Koreans returning home, which they said means they need to screen everyone.
The screening includes a temperature check, a health questionnaire and quarantine-related statements.
Arriving passengers also have to submit accurate contact information and download a smartphone app used to monitor their health for a two-week period.
