Google is facing an anti-trust investigation by 48 U.S. states for alleged monopolistic behavior.
In a news conference Monday, Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton, one of the probe's leaders, said Google dominates all aspects of internet advertising and search.
He noted that this is an investigation, and not yet a lawsuit.
The states of California and Alabama have not yet joined the bipartisan probe.
Google has reportedly declined to comment, pointing to earlier statements that it will work with state officials.
Just last Friday, eight states and the District of Columbia announced an investigation into Facebook for similar reasons.
