Wall Street rose on Wednesday as investors considered positive earnings results and digested the release of minutes from the Federal Reserve’s July meeting.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average added 240 points, or point-nine percent, to 26,202.
The S&P 500 rose 24 points, or point-eight percent, to 2,924.
The Nasdaq added 71 point, or point-nine percent, to 8,020.
In South Korea Wednesday, the benchmark KOSPI added four.four points, or point-two-two percent at one,964.
The tech-heavy KOSDAQ rose almost nine points, or one-and-a-half percent, to close at almost 616 points.
Oil prices were mixed.
W-T-I was down .four-three percent to around $56 a barrel. Brent rose around point-six percent to slightly over $60.
