South Korea's exports look likely to fall for the ninth month in a row in August.
Korea Customs Service data shows that in the first 20 days of this month, exports fell 13 percent on-year to 25 billion U.S. dollars.
Semiconductor shipments were down nearly 30 percent, while petroleum products dropped 20 percent.
Exports to China fell 20 percent, and shipments to Japan slipped 13 percent amid the trade conflict between Seoul and Tokyo.
In July, ICT exports fell 22 percent, mostly due to low growth in semiconductors, displays, and mobile phones.
