High-level officials from North Korea and China, meeting in Beijing, have reportedly agreed to strengthen their countries bilateral ties.
That's according to Pyeongyang's Korean Central News Agency, reporting on the sit-down last Friday between Kim Su-gil , the political bureau director of the regime's military, and his Chinese counterpart Miao Hua.
Kim reportedly said he wants to upgrade their friendly and cooperative ties, in line with the wishes of leaders Kim Jong-un and Xi Jinping.
Miao reportedly said China wants to do the same.
Both officials were present when their leaders met earlier this year in Pyeongyang.
