President Moon Jae-in has reiterated his pledge to establish a fair economy in South Korea, insisting the importance of ensuring the working class, local businesses, SMEs, and conglomerates can prosper together.

The President's remarks came during the Fair Economy Strategy Meeting on Friday, held at the COEX Convention Center in southern Seoul.
He stressed that the nation has seen remarkable growth. thanks to the collective hard work of the people,. but the achievements and benefits were mostly concentrated on conglomerates.
President Moon asserted that only fair competition and fair reward for one's work can lead to innovation.
He pledged the government will take steps to fix unfair business practices to ensure equal opportunities and fair competition for all.
