Hello, I'm Michelle Park here with the latest weather update. The rain has tapered off in Seoul and left us with quite a bit of humidity. Meanwhile, in the southern regions that avoided the rain, the mercury has been rising quickly, with heatwave alerts issued in several places across the region. You should have a small umbrella handy because you may get caught in sudden showers due to the unstable conditions in the atmosphere.
The cloudy weather will clear up tomorrow, with the sun shining down stronger than today. So if you thought today was hot, you should definitely find a better way to keep yourself cool because the readings will be higher than today.
In the morning, most of the nation including Seoul can expect temperatures of 24 degrees Celsius, Jeju starts at 25.
During the day, it's going to be blistering hot, hitting 32 in Seoul, while Gwangju and Daegu reach 34 degrees.
Similar hot, sticky weather is expected through the next few days, and the nation will now also start experiencing tropical nights.
I'll leave you with the weather conditions around the world.
