PyeongChang Winter Olympics Day 4 Updated: 2018-02-13 12:43:37 KST

It's day four of the 2018 PyeongChang Winter Olympics.
I'm Kim Hye-sung with the latest on the games.
Let's take a look at some of the highlights.

American snowborder Chloe Kim won her first Olympic gold medal in the women's halfpipe competition Tuesday with a near perfect score of 98.25
A strong performance was somewhat expected from Kim, who's been hailed as one of Team USA's rising stars and came FIRST in the qualification for the event.
Her near perfect score and aerial tricks have already earned the 17-year-old star a nickname -- G.O.A.T, the greatest of all time

One of the newly added events to this year's Winter Olympics is mixed doubles curling.
And this morning, Russia's "neutral" mixed doubles curling team earned their first ever bronze medal, defeating Norway 8 to 4.

In skiing, the Men's Alpine Combined was held this afternoon.
And Austria's ( ) Marcel Hisrher came in first with an overall record of two minutes six.5-2 seconds.
South Korea's Kim Dong-woo, the only skiier from Asia in the event, didn't win a medal.
But he finished the race, the first time in 26 years for a South Korean skiier to do so.

One of the events that's been making headlines is women's ice hockey not least because the two Koreas have fielded a joint team.
But in their preliminary game against Sweden Monday night, the Korean women lost zero to eight after losing another match against Switzerland on Saturday.
The joint team won't be going for the finals, but their last game, against Japan, will take place tomorrow.

And now, the medal tally.
As of 5pm Tuesday,
Germany is top of the list with four gold medals -- three from biathlon and one from ski jumping.
The Netherlands is in second, boosted by its dominance in speed skating.
The United States ranks third.
The host country, South Korea, is ninth with one gold medal.

Well, more exciting games are coming up.
The men's 1-thousand meter short track speed skating is slated for 7:30 pm.
Lim Hyo-jun, who secured the first gold for South Korea, will be racing in that event.
The women's 5-hundred-meter short track speed skating finals are also on the way.
All eyes are on South Korean star Choi Min-jeong, who set a new Olympic record of 42.8-7 seconds in Saturday's preliminaries.
And the final match for mixed curling, between Canada and Switzerland will take place at around 8 pm.
So don't miss it

That's all I have for our 6pm newscast.
Here are the results from today's events.
