One of speed skating's most famous faces won't be whizzing around the ice in PyeongChang.
Russia's Olympic champion, and former South Korean short track star An Hyun-soo, now more commonly known as Viktor An, has been banned from competing at next month's Winter Olympics.
With the on-going Russian doping scandal, the World Anti-Doping Agency-sponsored McLaren commission report implicated the 32-year-old in its latest report, meaning he will be banned from competing under the neutral Olympic flag, as he earlier requested.
It's a devastating blow for the Seoul-born skater, who won three gold medals at the Sochi Games in 2014 as a Russian national.
