Yes Daniel, the cold front we've faced the last couple of days is finally weakening, leading to cold wave alerts being lifted in many regions, including the capital Seoul. However, don't hang up your thick jacket just yet, because conditions are still chilly in various parts of the nation.
Seoul will finally see the mercury bouncing back into positive territory. By Sunday, temperatures will return to the seasonal averages. Meanwhile, between tonight and early morning tomorrow, the central region can expect some light snow.
Looking into the readings, Seoul wakes up to minus 7 degrees Celsius, while Daegu and Busan start out at minus 8 and minus 5 degrees. respectively.
During the day, Seoul rises to 2 degrees, while Gwangju and Busan see 5 and 7 degrees.
Temperatures will remain bearable next week, but be ready for some nationwide precipitation, as well.
