The Olympic flame now on the third day of its relay is in Jeju.
The torch passed major landmarks including the resort island's second-biggest city: Seogwipo.
Jeju's female divers, the "Haenyeo," who traditionally harvest shellfish from deep underwater, carried the torch in a special relay on land.
The Haenyeo and their way of life are listed by UNESCO as Intangible Cultural Heritage.
82 runners are covering around 17-kilometers of the Southernmost island.
After the torch reaches Jeju's famous 'Sunrise Peak' it will again be put inside the safety lamp and flown to Busan, where the relay will resume.
