A legend of Korean sport is retiring today.
Lee Seung-yeop, dubbed Korea's "national batter," is calling time on his record-breaking 23-year baseball career.
The 41-year-old Samsung Lions slugger has racked up a staggering six-hundred-24 home runs in his professional career in Korea and Japan.
His last game will take place today against Nexen Heroes at the Lions' home stadium in Daegu.
Lee came back to the KBO in 2011 after eight successful seasons in Japan with three different clubs.
