Now to the closing market figures
All three major indicies on Wall Street ended with record closes on Wednesday as Apple-led losses in tech shares were offset by pickups in consumer discretionary and energy stocks.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average edged up by around zero.1 percent to 22,158.1-8,-- while the S&P 500 finished the day up less than one-tenth of a percent at 2,498.3-7.
The tech-heavy Nasdaq, not so different, adding just zero.0-9 percent to finish at 6,460.1-9.
In the meantime, shares in Korea finished lower on Wednesday, as individual and foreign buyers went on a selling spree.
The benchmark KOSPI lost zero.2 percent at 2,360.18.
