Blue House uncovers more documents incriminating former president Park Geun-hye Updated: 2017-07-18 05:04:27 KST

South Korea's Presidential Office of Cheong Wa Dae says it has discovered more documents from the previous Park Geun-hye administration, that could incriminate the impeached former president.
According to a spokesman for the Blue House, the documents in question were found in a filing cabinet in the office of a presidential secretary for political affairs.
The records, numbering more than 13-hundred, are said to contain evidence that former President Park maintained a blacklist of cultural figures who were critical of her administration.
Once sorted, the documents may be forwarded to the prosecution, who are trying to convict Park and her top aides, on charges of bribery and influence-peddling.
