Korea's central region was pounded by heavy rains over the weekend, so far 5 people have died, and 1 other is missing.
Landslides in Chungcheongbuk-do Province left two people dead on Sundayand a farmer and a camper, both over 70 years old were also found dead Monday near Goesan County in the region.
Another man in his 60's, earlier reported as missing was also found dead as of Monday evening in Gyeongsangbuk-do Province.
One farmer in Chungcheongbukdo is still missing.
Road and rail traffic across the region saw severe disruptions.
Over 5-hundred residents were forced to evacuate homes due to floods.
Rescue and restoration efforts are ongoing.
