Staying in the nation.
Today marks South Korea's 69th Constitution Day.
As there are growing calls on the need to revise and update it
National Assembly Speaker Chung Sye-kyun took the chance to push for a consitutional reform bill.
Expressing hopes it can be ready by the end of the year with the support from all political sides Chung stressed the change has long been demanded by the people, and that it's essential to improving the citizen's lives.
The speaker plans to put it up for a referendum next June, when local elections will be held.
