One of the hot issues on the agenda during the visits of senior diplomats from China and the U.S. to Seoul earlier this week was whether Korea would join a China-led development bank
The presidential office says no decision has been made on the topic.
But according to senior staff, the administration, eventually, is expected to make a decision after a review.
On Wednesday, President Park's senior economic secretary denied reports Seoul had already agreed to join the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank adding that there have been no official discussions on the matter.
The A-I-I-B is a thorny topic between China and the United States.
Washington views the bank as a move by Beijing to take control of economic and trade order in the Asia-Pacific.
