Stepping up its protest of the ruling party's rejection of its proposal for trilateral dialogue with the family members to renegotiate the special Sewol-ho ferry bill, members of the main opposition, New Politics Alliance for Democracy, are holding a SIT-IN protest at the National Assembly.
Along with the protest, opposition party floor leader Park Young-sun is currently reading out a letter of support for the bereaved families at the National Assembly.
Park vowed on Monday that her party was ready to shift to a hard-core fight against the ruling party if no compromise was met within the day.
We'll bring you contents of the opposition's letter during our next newscast at noon.
