Call them the 'Little Giants of Baseball', because the South Korean Little League squad finished off their incredible run at the 2014 Little League World Series, by beating the U.S. Champions, Jackie Robinson-West of Illinois.
After defeating Japan for the second time in this tournament over the weekend, the South Korean Little Leaguers, who represented the Asia-Pacific region, played a game full of emotion and vigor.
Choi Hae-chan's brilliant pitching performance as a reliever, and a 4-run 6th inning, helped South Korea beat Jackie Robinson-West 8-4, to claim their first Little League World Series title in 29 years, and their third title overall.
For these Little Leaguers, they celebrated like young kids that they are, but played the entire tournament like big leaguers.
