Israel, Palestine agree to shaky 5-day ceasefire extensionUpdated: 2014-08-14 12:37:15 (KST)
Another five-day ceasefire has been agreed upon in Gaza but minutes before the Palestinian factions agreed to the extension, Israeli forces reported fresh rocket fire.
They say at least five were shot in their direction.
There were no reports of casualties and Hamas denied any responsibility.
Israeli defense forces responded by targeting what it called "terror sites" in Gaza.
It is still unclear what impact - if any - this streak of attacks will have on the 5-day truce extension.
All sides have been locked in indirect negotiations to produce a more lasting peace deal.
Palestinians reported "significant progress" though differences remained on the details of security arrangements and reconstruction efforts.
