Korea's main rival parties have failed to agree on some of the terms on a special bill aimed at uncovering the details about April's deadly Sewol-ho ferry sinking.
The floor leaders of each party had met on Monday.
The ruling Saenuri Party's Lee Wan-koo suggested passing the bill in its original form but the main opposition New Politics Alliance for Democracy's Park Young-sun said *her party would not agree unless the two parties *first agree on the list of witnesses for the hearing.
This comes after the two parties agreed last week to have President Park appoint a special counsel to look into the cause of the disaster which the bereaved family members of the ferry disaster rejected saying it fails to reflect their demand for a fair investigation.
