An Israeli air strike killed at least 10 people and wounded about 30 others at a United Nations school in the southern Gaza Strip on Sunday.
This is the second attack on a UN school in less than a week.
Witnesses and medics say a missile launched by an Israeli aircraft struck the entrance gate to the school.
The school was a designated shelter for at least 3-thousand displaced residents many of them from the east of Rafah where there has been heavy bombing since last Friday.
The Israeli military said it is looking into the reported attack.
The bloody fighting in Gaza continues to push up the death toll.
More than 16-hundred Palestinians, most of them civilians, have been killed since the conflict began on July 8th and at least 66 Israelis have been killed, three of them civilians.
