Korea's biz sentiment forecast for August drops to 6-month lowUpdated: 2014-07-30 06:34:54 KST
Korea's business sentiment is forecast to hit a six-month-low in August.
The Federation of Korean Industries says Korea's 600 biggest companies by sales are disappointed by the sluggish rate of economic recovery and unstable consumer sentiment.
The Business Survey Index rebounded after February but started on a downward trend following the ferry disaster in April.
The federation attributes the fall to the frail economic indices including the second quarter growth rate, which hit a seven-quarter low AND a 15-month-low consumer sentiment index in July.
