North Korea threatens to lash out at U.S. on eve of Korean War armistice anniversaryUpdated: 2014-07-26 18:15:35 (KST)
The two Koreas will mark the sixty-first anniversary on Sunday of the signing of an armistice that ended the Korean War.
A day before the anniversary, North Korea has threatened to lash out at the United States if it continues its "hostile policies" against the North.
In an editorial Saturday in North Korea's main national daily, the Rodong Sinmun, Pyongyang said the U.S. is targeting the North with its high-tech military equipment and military drills in the area.
It also said that, if the U.S. took part in a Second Korean War, the North Korean military would crush their invading forces.
