Our top story this morning
Early voting has just begun for the July 30th by-elections.
Those eligible voters who wish to cast their ballot ahead of the actual election day can do so between SIX am and SIX pm today (Friday) and Saturday.
The turnout in by-elections is typically low in Korea, but the National Election Commission expects the early voter turn-out to reach about 6 percent.
However, officials say it could be a bit higher because 15 parliamentary seats are on the line a record amount for a by-election in Korea.
According to election law, as of this Friday media outlets are now barred from revealing any new public opinion polls on the by-elections.
