North Korea once again blamed South Korea for the failure of Thursday's inter-Korean talks about North Korea's participation in the upcoming Asian Games which will be held in the South Korean city of Incheon.
The North's state controlled website said Saturday that the lack of progress at the meeting was due to South Korea's conservative ruling group and the United States that don't want close inter-Korean ties.
It claimed Seoul's insincerity at the talks was a direct challenge against Pyongyang's proposal to improve relations.
This comes a day after North Korea threatened to reconsider its plans to send athletes and a cheering squad to the Asian Games which start in mid-September.
