U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry says Washington and Beijing see eye-to-eye on North Korea's denuclearization.
Speaking at the end of two-day annual talks in the Chinese capital on Thursday, Kerry said both sides agreed about the urgency of curbing North Korea's nuclear weapons program, adding they discussed ways to advance that goal.
The U.S. official also said China must do more and play a "unique role" in persuading Pyongyang to give up its nuclear weapons.
North Korea was one of the handful of areas on which they promised closer cooperation, but the world's two largest economies made little to no progress on China's alleged cyber hacking as well as territorial and humanitarian issues.
