Chinese President Xi Jinping is coming to Korea.
South Korea's presidential office says China's first couple will arrive in Seoul on July 3rd for a two-day state visit.
It will be the Chinese leader's first visit to the nation since taking office last year and unlike his previous overseas trips, President Xi will not be making any stops in other countries.
President Park visited Beijing in June of last year.
It's also unconventional for a Chinese leader to visit South Korea before first visiting Beijing's traditional ally, North Korea.
During their talks next Thursday, Presidents Park and Xi will assess their strategic partnership and cooperative measures for dealing with North Korea's nuclear issue.
