Good afternoon to you guys let's continue on with our 2014 Brazil World Cup coverage with a couple of matches that took place earlier today this including like you said the highly anticipated match up between Germany and Portugal in Group G.
And while many expected a closer match between the two powerhouses it was all Germany
as Thomas Muller got Germany on board early with a penalty in the 12th minute before Mats Hummels made it 2-0 in the 32nd.
But just before then end of the 1st half Thomas Muller scores again giving Germany the 3-0 lead in the 1st half. Muller would then go on to score the first hat trick of the tournament as Germany crushes Portugal 4-0.
Meanwhile, later on the day, Iran taking on Nigeria both teams go scoreless as the first draw of the tournament happened with 0-0 draw.
And last, but not least, USA versus Ghana in their Group G match up it only took 29 seconds for the first goal to be scored as Clint Dempsey gave USA the quick 1-0 lead. Ghana would level it in the 82nd minute but shortly after John Brooks gives USA the 2-1 lead in the 86th and the win 2-1 your final
