Our top story tonight.
Avian Influenza has been detected for the first time in Korea's eastern Gangwon-do Province.
Provincial authorities say the highly-pathogenic bird flu virus was found at a geese farm in the county of Hoengseong , after which nearly 7-hundred geese at the site and 20 chicken within the 500-meter radius were culled.
Quarantine posts have been set up in the county and a 24-hour outbreak prevention headquarters is in operation.
The last reported bird flu infection was at a duck farm in Korea's southwestern Jeollanam-do Province three weeks ago.
