South Korean Foreign Minister Yun Byung-se and his Chinese counterpart Wang Yi held talks in Seoul on this Monday.
This is the Chinese diplomat's first visit to South Korea, since taking office last year.
The talks come amid renewed threats of a nuclear test by North Korea. Ahead of the meeting, the two officials said the talks would be an opportunity to reaffirm their strategic partnership in securing peace and stability on the Korean Peninsula.
