In what will be a historic visit to North Korea by a Korean Roman Catholic leader--
Cardinal Andrew Yeom Soo-jung of Seoul is set to visit the inter-Korean Kaesong Industrial Complex, located in North Korea.
The Cardinal and six other priests plan to tour the complex on Wednesday.
The Roman Catholic leaders say they will meet with South Korean business officials and pray for peace and reconciliation between the two Koreas.
It will be the first time for a South Korean Cardinal to visit North Korea.
There had been speculation Cardinal Andrew's visit could be a precursor for Pope Francis to also visit the communist nation, when he comes to Seoul this August, but a source within the Catholic church quashed the rumor saying the Pope has no plans to travel to the North.
