Investigators mull charging sunken ferry's captain with homicide

Meanwhile, investigators probing the ferry disaster are considering charging the ship's captain Lee Joon-seok with murder, because he was one of the first to abandon the ship, leaving hundreds of his passengers trapped inside and doomed to die.
As well as this .. the state auditor plans to launch a probe on Wednesday into the government's response to the disaster.
The government has come in for harsh criticism for its handling of sinking and its aftermath.
The Coast Guard will also been investigated.
Prosecutors say some Coast Guard officials could be charged with negligent homicide as well as negligence of duty as none of them attempted to board the sinking ferry during the early stages of the rescue mission.
The Maritime Affairs Ministry has also canceled Chonghaejin Marine's license to operate ferries on the Incheon-Jeju Island route.
