South Korea is looking to hold a summit talks with China in the coming weeks amid rising concerns North Korea is on stand-by to conduct a fourth nuclear test.
Government sources in Seoul say there are ongoing talks to get a meeting arranged soon, with some saying Chinese President Xi Jinping could visit Seoul as early as next month.
An official announcement on the meeting could come soon.
The envisioned talks are part of the two countries' efforts to curb North Korea's nuclear ambitions and prevent further provocations.
