Korea's March job figures are out and the employment market seems to be picking up steam.
Statistics Korea said Wednesday that the jobless rate in the nation dropped last month to 3.9 percent from the 4.5 percent recorded in February.
The total number of employed people in Korea stood at over 25-million, which is an increase of 650-thousand from the same month last year.
The agency attributed the rise to a steady economic recovery after a long-term slump.
Job creation did however slow from the previous month's 835-thousand gain.
That was the largest on-year job growth since March 2002.
