Six days of reunions for war-separated families came to an end on this Tuesday at North Korea's Mount Kumgang resort.
Nearly 5-hundred divided family members in the second round of reunions said their final, tearful farewells earlier this morning, and the 3-hundred-50 South Korean participants who took part will return to the South at around 5 p.m, Korea time.
The reunion event was the first in more than three years.
In the first round, 82 South Koreans who applied for the event reunited with their families in the North, while in the next round, 88 North Koreans met with their South Korean family members.
