With the pressure on her to win Korea's first medal in Sochi she finishes the first race with the final time of 37.42 seconds good for 1st after the first race. But in the final race the Vancouver gold medalist turns on her gears and sets a new Olympic record with the final time of 37.28 seconds winning her second straight Olympic gold with a combined time of 1 minute 14.70 seconds which is another Olympic record. It's Korea's first medal in Sochi as she becomes the first Asian to win 2 straight gold medals in the event.
