Now to the latest in inter-Korean relations,
Earlier this week South Korea sent North Korea its proposal to hold reunions for families separated by the Korean War but Seoul is still awaiting a direct answer from North Korea.
With the inter-Korean hotline closed for the day South Korea's unification ministry says there are no plans to open the hotline during the Lunar New Year holiday.
The ministry sent a message to the North Wednesday morning urging it to reply as soon as possible if it is sincere about resuming the reunions.
On Monday, Seoul offered to reopen the long-suspended event from February 17th to the 22nd and to hold working-level talks this Wednesday to go over the details.
