Turning to the bird flu crisis here in Korea
Officials have confirmed that the dead ducks found in a river in central Korea were infected by the latest avian influenza.
The five ducks found dead in Geumgang River suggest that the virus is spreading.
The dead ducks were found about 50 kilometers north of Gochang County-- where the highly pathogenic H5N8 strain of avian influenza was first found.
So far bird flu has been confirmed at a total of eight farms in Korea.
Some 300-thousand ducks and chickens have been culled since the virus was first confirmed a few days ago.
